Scappoose Police Department Patrol Car

The Scappoose Police Department is comprised of a Chief of Police, a Lieutenant, a Sergeant, seven sworn police officers, two police administrators, and a police chaplain. We also support an active C.E.R.T. (Community Emergency Response Team) team made up of dedicated community members who are trained to respond in the event of a disaster.

If you have any questions and you do not find the answer within this site, please do not hesitate to contact us by telephone at 503.543.3114 or stop by the police station.

For those new to the area or visiting from other places... Scappoose is located on US Highway 30 in Columbia County Oregon and is approximately 20 miles Northwest of Portland Oregon along the Columbia River (view map). The current population is just under 6,000. There are approximately 32,000 vehicles driving through Scappoose on Hwy 30 every day.
