The Scappoose Police Department is comprised of a Chief of Police, a Lieutenant, two Sergeants, a school resource officer, six sworn police officers, a police administrator, and a police chaplain. We also support an active C.E.R.T. (Community Emergency Response Team) team made up of dedicated community members who are trained to respond in the event of a disaster.

For those new to the area or visiting from other places... Scappoose is located on US Highway 30 in Columbia County Oregon and is approximately 20 miles Northwest of Portland Oregon along the Columbia River (view map). The current population is just under 6,000. There are approximately 32,000 vehicles driving through Scappoose on Hwy 30 every day.
